In this website, we want share our knowledge and passion for cactus with fellow enthusiasts. You can find described here hundreds of species of cactus. We want to tell you how they look like, where they come from, how they are grown, and so on. If you are looking for information to grow cactus, you've come to the right place. You can find here gardening tips on growing different types of cacti, and finally, we will visit some of the major cactus gardens of the world. What is a CactusCacti are members of the Cactaceae family. The one thing all cacti have in common is the succulent stems in which to store water. Of course, the ability to store water is not unique to cacti, other plants also do the same, including living stones or Lithops and Stapelia. But these are not within the Cactaceae family, and so we have not included them in this website.The Cactus in Our Garden About UsMy name is Tim and my wife is Esther. We are both gardening enthusiast, although nowadays we do all our "gardening" on the web.
